Cant See Kickass Torrent Search Results On Google

Few days ago Google Chrome started blocking torrent sites, stating that it might contain malware content, however the issue was fixed you can read more about it here. However now the worlds number one torrents site Kickass Torrent has been removed from google search results.


Here's what happens when you search for Kickass torrent on google-
Instead of displaying the official sites that is Kat.cr Google Search leads to some clone copies of the torrent site.

Reason Behind Removing It-

It may be the said that Google search may have blocked Kickass torrent due to Google Safe Browsing which deletes any site with unwanted software, malicious content and ads. However if this would have been the case then why are the clone sites still shown in the results they should be removed too.

According to the Kickass Team if Google has penalized us for malware content which we have already removed according to Google Safe Browsing then why the search results for Kickass leads to a .Eu website are still displayed which doesn't offers any torrent file and lets you Download FileDowloader.exe which is a malware file. 

Kickass and other torrent sites where also recently penalized by google when Chrome stopped user access to these sites by displaying that they may contain harmful programs. However it was resolved later you can read more about it here.

The best alternative to search torrent is Duckduckgo.com which lets you anonymously browse the internet without any filter and personalized settings.
