Specifications-

The Nexus 2015 will be powered by the Snapdragon 808 Soc, considering its not the top of the line soc from Snapdragon, however Lg have been using the hexacore 808 soc instead of the octacore 810 soc in there flagship devices like there Lg G4, mostly due to the  heating and under clocking issues. The 808 features dual core ARM Cortex A57 processor in comparison to 810's quadcore A57 processor's and both have the same low powered A53 processor for saving battery. The 808 would perform in par in single threaded process with the 810 or even better in a test performed by Source-AndroidAuthority in which they show how the 808 performs in comparison to the 810.

The Display will be tuned by an Adreno 418 GPU which is capable of running any application or game at 1080p and performs in par with the 420 chipset which was featured in high end devices like the Nexus 6. The Processor and the Gpu of the device would be supported by 3Gigabytes of RAM.

The Smartphone features a 5.2inch, 1080p display we currently don't know that if it would be an IPS, LCD or any other kind of display but the reason LG must have accompanied a 1080p display is to save battery life and lower the manufacturing cost and offer the smartphone at a highly affordable price which the Nexus series was previously known for before the release of the Nexus 6. Currently to me higher resolution then 1080p on a smartphones screen barely makes a difference in feasting my eyes and i do not prefer it in an affordable device, however great viewing angles are always preferred.

Being a developer smartphone we don't expect the Nexus camera to high end be top of the market, we are currently expecting the 12.5MP rear and 5MP front sensors to be mid-high end in quality, however currently we cant say much about it until we get our hands on the device. The phone will be powered by 2700Mah battery to which we will be looking forward in our review.

The device will feature a USB type C port and will come in 16Gb and 32Gb internal storage variants and three colors black, white, and blue. The storage however sounds less to me i was expecting a 64Gb variant. It has also been rumored that the device will feature a a removable back cover but it isn't confirmed.

Final Words-

Looks like after Nexus 6 not performing that well in the market Google wants to return to there old marketi strategy with there new device, focusing on an affordable Android phone with the stock and smooth Nexus experience. The device is expected to launch at the end of this month and will be shipped with the latest version of android Marshmallow.
