How To Crash Google Chrome With An Url Hack

A new Google Chrome bug has recently been discovered which crashes chrome with a 16 Character URL code. When the URL link is opened in the browser or the code is copied to the browsers address bar it leads to a crash. The bug may even sometimes work when the mouse is hovered upon the link. The bug also works on Opera and it causes a deformed URL to load on Firefox.

The bug effects the latest 45.0.2454.93 m version of Chrome on Windows and has been submitted to Google security team to work on the vulnerability. According to them the vulnerability occurs due to incorect handling of parameters in the characters, both %30 is decoded to 0, then is decoded to null, which then crashes Chrome
