With the release of the Nexus devices Google have also launched there new Chromecast 2 device on the 29 September event, and the device comes packed with new features and upgrades.
The new Chromecast 2 will be available in three colors namely yellow, red and black. Its looks, design and aesthetics are far more better than the prior version and comes device comes with upgraded specs too. The device Supports dual band Wifi with both 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz support. It also has a 802.11ac Wi-Fi support for a new feature called Fast Play which lets you instantly stream and cast any media.
The previous Chromecast ran without any external power support, however the upgraded version comes with an additional Micro USB slot for powering up the device which certainly suggests that the new Chromecast requires a bit more juice for powering up the hardware.
Google have also partnered with streaming sites such as Netflix and Hulu, to let there users instantly stream from there Smartphone and Tablet devices without using any third party software. The new features also include the new improved voice search feature and all this comes in an affordable price tag of 35 US $.

In addition to the Chromecast 2, Google have also launched there new Chromecast Audio device which lets you stream audio to you speaker system via Wifi using the device, and for streaming audio Google has partnered with lead companies such as Spotify and Pandora and it also works with Play Music. The device will also be available for 35 US $ and can be of great use if you want to turn your speaker system into a Chromecast device.
