PowerColor Devil R9 370X Specifications Leaked

Previously about the leaked specification of the 370X and how it is a rebrand of the 270x and would be running on the Trinidad XT core which is new name for the Pitcairn XT architecture you can read more about it here. With the release of the 370X a non reference version of the GPU is going to hit the market.

PowerColor 370X Specification-

The PowerColor 370X would run on the Trinidad XT based on the Pictarian XT graphics core in the Radeon HD 7870 which was launched back in 2012. However the 370X has further improvements in power consumption and clock frequency.

The 370X would consist of a 1280 steam processors clocked at a frequency of 1180MHz with 80TMU's and 32  ROP's and a memory clock of 1400Mhz and 2Gb of memory @ 5600Mhz which runs around a 256 bit interface pumps out a bandwidth of 179.2 GB /s. It would also feature a 4gb memory version. The Trinidad XT would house 2.8 Billion transistors in a 212mm2 die.

The cooler consists of three fans hree fans (2 x 80mm and 1 x 92mm). And the PCB is mounted in a VRM of 7 + 1 + 1 phase power MOSFETs using a DirectFET IR CHL8228G using a PWM chip for voltage regulation. The heat is dissipated through several aluminum fins dissipates heat through four large copper 6mm heatpipes that are cooled down by the PWM fans. It gets power through dual 6-Pin connectors with a TDP of around 150-160Watts.

Performace-

The Radeon R9 370X scores X2761 marks in 3DMark 11 and 3035 marks in 3DMark Firestrike Extreme. The Radeon R9 380 scores around 3500 marks in 3DMark Firestrike while the GeForce GTX 960 scores around 3600 Marks in the same benchmark which might give you an idea of the performance. The difference is that the Radeon R9 370X will be priced in the range of $169-$179 US while the R9 380 and GTX 960 cost $199 US. When comparing with a Radeon R9 270 graphics card, the Radeon R9 370X consumed 20W lower power at 226W system power compared to 245W on the Radeon R9 270 system.
